Best view point see Nepal Himalayas

Nepal is a country gifted by natural resources. The diverse topography one finds on moving from north to south is just simply amazing. Unexploited by population and pollution, Nepal is a dream destination to be in to look at the nature. Host to 8 of the 14 highest peaks in the world, Nepal is an interesting destination for trekking, reaching to the highest point and finally rewarding oneself with the amazing views of the giant Himalayas. It is an exuberance feel indeed!  Here is some of the list of the Amazing Viewpoints of Nepal in terms of altitude.

KalaPatthar (5643m)
Kalapatthar is Nepali for “black rock” and is located on the southern range of Pumori in the Himalayas in the map of Nepal.  It is the highest viewpoint and offers a very close view of the Everest.  It also offers astounding views of Mountains such as Nuptse, Amadablm, Lhotse, Changtse, Pumori and Nup II.  Trekking to Kalapathhar doesn’t require special climbing skills but you have to separate a minimum of two weeks’ time.  The trekking trail to the Everest Base Camp takes you to the Kalapathhar.  You can instead take a helicopter ride from Lukla or Kathmandu. You will surely climbed this rock mountain in Everest Base Camp Trek.

Gokyo-Ri is another viewpoint that provides the startling view of the Everest.  It is a distinguished peak in the Everest region as it also offers views of Mountains such as Cho-Yu, Makalu and Lhotse (All these mountains are above 8000m). This place is perfect for viewing the snow giants above 8000m.  The reflection of snow capped Himalayas on Gokyo Lakes are just incredible.  Trekking to Gokyo-Ri takes 13 days and the route is from Lukla through Namche Bazaar and Gokyo Lakes. Sarangkot (1592m)
Sarangko is a famous viewpoint in Nepal for the Sunrise and Annapurna Himalayas Rages. Sarangkot is the most popular tourist destination from where the tourist can enjoy the great view of the Pokhara Valley and the magnificent view of the mountains. Sarangkot is only 5 km from Lake Side, Pokhara. Many tourists come to Sarangkot for sunrise view and go back after few hours but it will be good if tourist stay there for one night and enjoy the view and city light of Pokhara from Sarangkot. Paragliding can also be done from Sarangkot. From Sarangkot, on the northern direction we can see Dhaulagiri in the far west. Annapurna range is visible when the weather is clear on the same side. On the southern direction the village overlooks the city of Pokhara and its lake on the north-western outskirts of the city. The view from Sarangkot can take on Dhampus Sarangkot Trek which is easy hiking around Pokhara for 3 days only.

Tengboche (3860m)
Tengboche is a famous Buddhist monastery and got its nomenclature from the Khumbu region’s largest monastery. It lies above Namche Bazaar (also known as Sherpa’s Capital). The awe-inspiring view of the Ama- Dablam Mountain is offered by Tengboche. Ama-Dablam, unlike other mountains is not known for its height but known for its beauty and exposure. It also offers a peek at Mountains such as Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku, Everest and Tawache. Getting to the beautiful destination takes around 4-5 days trek from Lukla. Syangboche(3841m)
Syangboche is one of the loveliest viewpoints to view Everest in Nepal. This place can be reached by an hour’s walk from Namche Bazaar. The airport of World located at the highest altitude lies at Syangboche. The beauty of the soaring and most attractive mountains of the world along with rich natural landscape can be enjoyed from Syangboche. The wide view of the important sights of Everest region can be enjoyed in the relaxing environment. Famous Himalayas that can be seen from here include Mount Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawache, Khumbila, Amadablam, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaru,etc.

Khopra Ridge (3660m)
Khopra ridge, locally known as Khopra Danda offers awe-inspiring views of Dhaulagiri. It is amongst the interesting trekking routes around the Dhaulagiri region. It is more stunning than the Ghorepani Poonhill region. However visiting Poonhill will add cherry to the cake. It is one of the singular viewpoints that offer the facility of community lodge.  You should consider yourself lucky to get a room and have amazing views of mountains just by opening curtains of your room as the lodge owners are simply villagers and the focus is not profiting but developing local village with the fund .

Poonhill lies above the village of Ghorepani that is in the Annapurna region. It is the most visited places for viewing the extravagant sunrise of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri.The views are goldish and give illuminating feel.  This destination helps achieve one’s fantasy of having glimpses of snow-capped mountains. Poonhill also offers spectacular views of other Mountains such as Nilgiri, Machhhapuchhure, Lamjung Himal, Himchuli and many more. It is easily accessible from the lower Annapurna and the trek completes within 4-5 days. The best time to travel to this amazing viewpoint is from February-June, September-November. Pikey Peak (4,065m)
Pikey Peak offers an even farther away, and thus more encompassing view of Everest and the surrounding mountains. Edmund Hillary, part of Mt Everest's first ascend team, declared this viewpoint the best in Nepal. In addition to Everest, you can see far west to 8,000m giants Dhaulagiri and east to Kanchenjunga. Trekking to Pikey Peak is a highly recommended off the beaten path experience through the lower Everest Region that requires about 6 days. Nagarkot
If you are short on time and want to stay close to Kathmandu while still enjoying amazing views of the Himalays, Nagarkot is your best bet. This beautiful village is located on top of a hill just outside of Kathmandu, and surrounded by scenic terraced rice paddies. You can stay overnight here and enjoy awesome Himalayan views from your balcony. Nagarkot is just a short 1-hour drive away from Kathmandu. If you have a bit more time, consider adding a few more days around your stay in Nagarkot.
